How to use the Online Quotec Designer | Customer Guide

Start your design
- Click “Design & Quote” / “Start Designing” on the website.
- Choose your building type (shed, garage, carport, etc.).
Enter your site details
- Add the build site address (helps with local rules, wind rating, delivery, etc.).
- If asked, confirm your area/region.
Pick your size
- Set length, width, and height.
- The 3D model will update as you change dimensions.
Choose your roof & frame style
- Select roof type (e.g., gable, skillion) and pitch if available.
- Pick frame/material options shown in the menu.
Add doors, windows, and extras
- Use the add-ons panel to place:
  - roller doors / PA doors
  - windows
  - awnings / lean-tos / internal walls (if offered)
- Clicking an item usually lets you move/resize it on the model.
Select colours and finishes
- Choose wall/roof colours and cladding options.
- Pricing updates automatically as you change selections.
Review your quote
- Open the Quote / Summary screen.
- Double-check:
  - dimensions
  - inclusions
  - door positions
  - colours
  - estimated price
Submit for final pricing
- Enter your name, email, and phone.
- Click “Get Quote / Submit / Send to Dealer.”
- The business receives your design in Quotec Live and will confirm final engineering + price.

Start with size first — everything else depends on it.
If something you want isn’t in the tool, submit anyway and note it in comments; the dealer can customise it after.
Treat the online price as an estimate until engineering/site checks are done.
